Can anyone pinpoint exactly when money became worthless? Because it doesn’t seem like that long ago since 100 grand would buy you the a top of the line supercar, or a house.
By the time I’ m ready to retire, an old Hyundai accent is gonna wipe out my retirement savings in it’s entirety.

Love the interior. If I ever get my e30 put all the way together mechanically I want to do a custom (tan) interior along those lines.

Rare. They know what they have. No test pilots.

In a place where a crappy house is 7 figures, this price makes sense.
Seller is probably trolling for clueless relatively new money.

Still not sure why more cars don’t have dog leg shift patterns. Don’t most cars lock you out of 1st when the car’s moving anyways?

Doglegs work great when you do a lot of upper gear rowing. The racetrack is the ultimate example. 1st can be set as a pit lane only speed and reverse is off in wonderland for the time youll hopefully never need it.
Unfortunately, in the real world with stop lights and traffic you spend much time hunting for first and reverse as you navigate slow speed areas and 5th would be more of a set and forget highway gear.

As much as I adore this car, at the end of the day the y would find stiff competition out of an S2000.
I still yearn to make a tribute version I can hoon, but with prices as is even the anemic 2.3 version is out of the question.
However many of these exist still , by now theyre all statues to be hauled and put on display.

Felt so stupid to learn that my old neighbor didn’t just tack an ugly wing on his Mercedes. Then again, in my defense , I never got to hear it since the car spent most of it s time in the garage.
